...are a relaxed affair beginning at 8.00 am for the early risers. It is our favorite meal and well worth waking up for, If you want a lie in and can resist the smell of freshly brewed coffee wafting up the stairs then we serve up until 9.15 am (of course if you are staying in a suite we can bring your breakfast up to you room for you),

Our philosophy is quite simply to buy the best of our local fresh produce. in the morning you'll find our sideboard stocked with cereals, fruit salads, homemade compote & granola, creamy thick yoghurt,

Our specials board change with the seasons but our philosophy doesn't; fresh & local is best.

How about  apple juice or  freshly squeezed orange juice with a bowl of home roasted maple syrup granola and fabulous creamy vanilla yogurt?

before you tuck into an outstanding, traditional Cumbrian Breakfast which includes award winning home cured bacon, Cumberland sausage or sensational wild boar and apple sausages(gluten free)  and black pudding from Peter Gott of Sillfield Farm.
