Vintage on the Prom Arnside
Arnside will be hosting its second annual vintage revival day, winding the clock back on the Prom to create a memorable day out with music, Lindy Hop lessons, games, fancy dress, vintage vehicles and even a horse and dray from Thwaites brewery! Arnside Community Bay Walk

Raise money for your group or charity by getting sponsored  by taking place in Arnside community Bay Walk
Adults £10.00 Children £5.00
The walk, led by Cedric Robinson, the Queen’s Official Guide, unusually starts from Kents Bank and finishes on  foreshore at Arnside, the walk proceeds onto the sands and across the channels of the River Kent and is 7-8 miles long depending on the route. A reasonable level of fitness and agility are required to complete the walk and certificates of commemoration are available to buy at the end.
Freerange Comedy Festival
Fantastic comedians, sketch shows and comedy theatre performing at the Brewery and venues around the South Lakeland, as well as performing on mountain tops or out on the lakes themselves. Headliners include  Omid Djalili, Lucy Porter and Paul Chowdhry.

Ambleside Rushbearing
This is a festival celebration associated with the ancient custom of annually replacing the rushes on the earth floors of churches, rushes being a general term for rushes, reeds and sweet smelling grasses. The bearings vary from large ornate devices such as hoops, staves and crosses to simple sheafs carried by children.
